CHROSCICKI, Flora Catherine (nee Jeans)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, September 2, 2016 at North York General Hospital at the age of 95.

Predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Chester (Chet).

Loving mother of Janet and Mark. Dear mother-in-law of Brad and Anne.

Proud grandmother of Martin, Alexander, Catie and Diana.

Survived by her brother David (Marion) Jeans, her sister-in-law Jane and her family from Newfoundland.

Predeceased by her brothers' Donald, John (Sylvia) and Rendell.

Flora will be missed by her sister-in-law Zofia and family in Poland.

Friends may call on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

Andrew Augustine DUANE

On Monday, April 25, 2016, 'Gus', surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully in his 92nd year. He was born in Loughrea, County Galway, Ireland in 1924. He flew in World War II with the RAF and immigrated to Canada in 1946. As one of twelve children, he is survived by his sister Eileen Hickey. Devoted husband to Dr. Vera Solowska for 60 years. Loving father of Helen (Marc Carere), Tom (Anne) and Peg (Tom Best). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Emily, Andrew, Dominique, Luke, Jeff, Richard, Melanie, Amy, Colin, Jenna and his great-grandchildren Anna Bella, Sophia, Cosmo and Kiana. He was always a mentor and loving advisor to his children, their peers and his grandchildren. On May 2nd, friends may visit at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd.
