GARDNER, Patricia Louise (nee VEROT)  - September 8, 1937 - September 3, 2016

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Gardner.

After a very brief battle with cancer, Pat passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on September 3, 2016.

She was surrounded by her husband, Lascelles and adoring son, Brian.

Lascelles and Pat were married for 56 wonderful years.

Pat loved dancing, travelling and of course watching her favourite Toronto Blue Jays! She is survived by her loving husband, Lascelles and her two adoring children, Sandra and Brian.

She will be fondly remembered by her sisters and brother as well as many other relatives.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Patricia Gardner's life on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd., Toronto, ON. Visitation 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. and service 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Light lunch and refreshments 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Suite 500, 55 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto, ON.

Andrew Augustine DUANE

On Monday, April 25, 2016, 'Gus', surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully in his 92nd year. He was born in Loughrea, County Galway, Ireland in 1924. He flew in World War II with the RAF and immigrated to Canada in 1946. As one of twelve children, he is survived by his sister Eileen Hickey. Devoted husband to Dr. Vera Solowska for 60 years. Loving father of Helen (Marc Carere), Tom (Anne) and Peg (Tom Best). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Emily, Andrew, Dominique, Luke, Jeff, Richard, Melanie, Amy, Colin, Jenna and his great-grandchildren Anna Bella, Sophia, Cosmo and Kiana. He was always a mentor and loving advisor to his children, their peers and his grandchildren. On May 2nd, friends may visit at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd.
