SAVEDRA, Howard Louis  - It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved father Howard Louis Savedra on September 5, 2016 in his 65th year.

Surrounded by the love of his children and family, he went peacefully on his journey to the Lord.

Loving father to Natalie (Clay) and Jessica and brother to Betty (George), Gerry (Jerry) and Andrew (Puff).

Beloved son of the late Lou and Audrey Savedra. He will be sadly missed by extended family, friends, nieces and nephews.

He will always be remembered for his intelligence, kindness, strength and gentle spirit. He was an honourable man.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge, on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Wilfrid's Church, 1675 Finch Ave. W., Toronto on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to The Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Andrew Augustine DUANE

On Monday, April 25, 2016, 'Gus', surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully in his 92nd year. He was born in Loughrea, County Galway, Ireland in 1924. He flew in World War II with the RAF and immigrated to Canada in 1946. As one of twelve children, he is survived by his sister Eileen Hickey. Devoted husband to Dr. Vera Solowska for 60 years. Loving father of Helen (Marc Carere), Tom (Anne) and Peg (Tom Best). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Emily, Andrew, Dominique, Luke, Jeff, Richard, Melanie, Amy, Colin, Jenna and his great-grandchildren Anna Bella, Sophia, Cosmo and Kiana. He was always a mentor and loving advisor to his children, their peers and his grandchildren. On May 2nd, friends may visit at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd.
