BROWN, Dennis Watson, Q.C.  - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at age 76.

Devoted husband of the late Carol Anne.

Loving father of Melissa (late Scott Legault), Greg (Pavlena) and Alison (Jamie Sawyer).

Cherished grandfather of Madison and Ainsley Brown and Mason and Carolyn Sawyer.

Beloved son of late Norman and Beatrice. He has worked with the Crown Law Office – Civil for over 40 years. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1978.

He has contributed to programs put on by the Law Society, Advocates Society, O.B.A., Canadian Institute, Federated Press and internally (AG).

He has received the OBA's Distinguished Service Award, Lexpert Zenith Award, Excelsior Award and the Carol Creighton Award.

A celebration of life will be held on September 16th from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at The Cambridge Club, 100 Richmond St. W., 11th floor.

If friends so desire, memorial donations in Dennis' memory may be made to the David Cornfield Melanoma Foundation.

Andrew Augustine DUANE

On Monday, April 25, 2016, 'Gus', surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully in his 92nd year. He was born in Loughrea, County Galway, Ireland in 1924. He flew in World War II with the RAF and immigrated to Canada in 1946. As one of twelve children, he is survived by his sister Eileen Hickey. Devoted husband to Dr. Vera Solowska for 60 years. Loving father of Helen (Marc Carere), Tom (Anne) and Peg (Tom Best). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Emily, Andrew, Dominique, Luke, Jeff, Richard, Melanie, Amy, Colin, Jenna and his great-grandchildren Anna Bella, Sophia, Cosmo and Kiana. He was always a mentor and loving advisor to his children, their peers and his grandchildren. On May 2nd, friends may visit at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd.
