PARKER, Dorothy Gwendoline (nee Daintree) — It is with sadness that the family of Dorothy Gwendoline Parker, loving wife of 61 years of the Late Rowland (Rody) Parker, announces her passing after an illness on September 4, 2016 at the age of 85 years.

Dorothy will be remembered by her children and ten grandchildren: Elaine (Desmond), Victoria, Alicia, Jessica Chiu, Sandra (Brian), Christopher, Daniel McFadyen, Carol (Karl), Scott, Stephen, Katherine Simon and Gregory (Heather), Grace and Allison.

Dorothy was a longtime Organist and Choir Director at Dixie Presbyterian Church and neighbourhood Piano Teacher in Mississauga.

A sincere thank you to the staff at Sunrise Senior Living - Burnhamthorpe for their attentive support and care.

Friends will be received at The Simple Alternative funeral Centre, Mississauga, on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, September 12, 2016 for a Funeral Service at 10 a.m.

Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Dorothy Gwendoline Parker to the Canadian Cancer Society or Meagan's Walk.

Andrew Augustine DUANE

On Monday, April 25, 2016, 'Gus', surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully in his 92nd year. He was born in Loughrea, County Galway, Ireland in 1924. He flew in World War II with the RAF and immigrated to Canada in 1946. As one of twelve children, he is survived by his sister Eileen Hickey. Devoted husband to Dr. Vera Solowska for 60 years. Loving father of Helen (Marc Carere), Tom (Anne) and Peg (Tom Best). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Emily, Andrew, Dominique, Luke, Jeff, Richard, Melanie, Amy, Colin, Jenna and his great-grandchildren Anna Bella, Sophia, Cosmo and Kiana. He was always a mentor and loving advisor to his children, their peers and his grandchildren. On May 2nd, friends may visit at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd.
