KEATING, Irene A.  - Peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family on October 3, 2016.

Irene Ann Keating (Dawd), of London and formerly of Geraldton, Thunder Bay, Toronto, Durham and Aurora in her 77th year.

Daughter of the late William and Olga Dawd.

Sister of the late Matt Dawd (Mary) and Marjorie Knutson (John). Loving mother of John, Paul (Kathy), Stephen (Stephanie) and Patrick (Ayrlie).

Beloved grandmother of Ava, Mack and Stella. She was a supportive maternal figure to the extended family and many of her sons' friends. Irene was a world traveller, accomplished bridge player and parole officer to her 4 boys.

A celebration of Irene's life will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12 p.m., at Christ the King University Parish at Windermere on the Mount, 1486 Richmond St., London, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
