CONFORZI, Stephen  - December 13, 1950 - February 1, 2017

It's hard to believe but on February 1st, "Stevie" departed Toronto, home of his beloved Leafs and Jays.

It wasn't that he lost faith in them after years of disappointment, he simply had an offer that was too good to pass up.

He is in a place where his team always wins, food and concessions are not only delicious but free, he can play cards and golf 'til his heart's content and couches and televisions are abundant.

He deeply regrets leaving behind his mother Josephine who was his coach, trainer and supporter; his amazing teammates, his children Robert, Kristen and Lauren and their spouses Jennifer, Steven and Sean; his biggest cheerleaders, his grandchildren Sadie, Lennon and Abigail; his opponents and best friends, his siblings Peter, Mark and Lisa and spouses Marilynn, Patricia, and Paul; his agent, cherished and beloved lifelong companion of 23 years Susan; his home stadium and home away from home St. James United Church; and finally, his countless fans who are all devastated by the news of this transfer.

His goodbye celebration will be hosted by St. James United Church, 400 Burnhamthorpe Rd., Toronto, ON M9B 2A8, on Saturday, February 11th at 2:30 p.m.
