MILES, Katherine Bernadette (nee DRAPER)  - Blue-eyed Angel with a Heart of Gold, Called Home.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Katherine Bernadette Miles on February 4, 2017 at the age of 80.

Katherine was born on December 30, 1936 in Toronto, ON.

She married the late Horace Miles (1990) on March 30, 1957 and their marriage was blessed with three daughters: the late Corinne (2008), Karen and Michele; followed by the blessing of three grandchildren Danielle, Lucas and Brianne. She will be missed by her son-in-law Brian MacDonald, many nieces and nephews and countless others who loved her like their own mother.

Katherine's life was filled with love, adventures, dancing, travelling, charitable giving and helping others. Predeceased by her father, Henry (Harry) Draper (1973), born in Collingwood who served for 7 years in WWII, her mother Kathleen Draper (nee Williams) born in Toronto (1980), sister Shirley (1937), brother Bruce (2006) and sister-in-law Alma (2009).

To honour such a loving, caring woman, memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Toronto Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

A private family gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
