Passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on March 7, 2017.

Predeceased by her parents Hector and Lucille Fray of Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Beloved wife and soulmate of Nicholas (Nick), dear sister of Elaine Baker, Yvonne (Betty) Roye, Kingsley (Annah), Merrick (Jane), Hector (Marva), Volney (Val) (Louisa), William (Bill) (Diana).

Will also be missed by sister-in-law Pam Young, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation at McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village, Ajax (905-428-8488) at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2017. Service to follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel.

Heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful doctors and nurses of Scarborough General for their outstanding care and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fatal Light Awareness Program (FLAP), where Merle volunteered for many years and which meant so much to her.
