Gross MarilynneGROSS, Marilynne Elizabeth  - 3/15/1937 - 3/12/2017

After nearly 80 years of feisty living, Marilynne passed peacefully at Ajax-Pickering Hospital after a long battle with COPD and back pain.

A tiny but feisty little lady who would stop at nothing to take care of her family, “Mar” was a practicing nurse for over 18 years, and the go-to nurse for everyone she knew until she left our world.

She is survived by her husband (Paul) of 24 years, her sister Virginia, her daughters, Sandy, Susie (Richard), and Shanon, her stepchildren, Doug (Gail) and Paula, 13 grandchildren, her niece Chrissy (Greg), nephew Terry, and her beloved morkie, Molly.

Affectionately known as “Granny” to her grandkids - her strength, sense of humour and unfiltered conversations will be missed by her family and countless friends.

Celebration of Life services (everyone welcome) on Thursday, March 16, 2017, 7pm to 9 pm, at Cedar Brae Golf Club, 55 Mac Frost Way, Scarborough, Ontario.

No flowers please, donations welcome to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
