Gutteridge BobGUTTERIDGE, Robert Leslie 'Bob' - Passed away peacefully on April 6th, 2017 at the Ross Memorial Hospital at the age of 87.

Bob was the beloved husband of Carole, in their 58th year of marriage.

He was the cherished father of Allison Ann and the late Nancy Elizabeth. Loving father-in-law of Craig Lewallen.

Survived by brother Don and his wife Anne, sister Carol Macfarlane (and the late John Macfarlane), predeceased by brother David and survived by his wife Diane Gutteridge, and brother-in-law of Howard and Norma Stinson of Edmonton.

Born in Ottawa on March 12, 1930 to Harry Gutteridge and Ella Johnston. Bob worked as a Chemist for the Provincial Ministry of Environment in Toronto until he retired, and he and Carole moved to their adopted and much loved hometown of Lindsay in 1990. He was a passionate volunteer for the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, along with Carole, for over 20 years.

Friends and Family are welcomed to the Mackey Funeral Home, Lindsay on Tuesday, April 11th from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Erskine Cemetery in Pickering will take place at a later date.

If desired, a memorial donation to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
