MacKay CatherineMacKAY, Catherine  - Passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at age 75.

Catherine, beloved daughter of the late Alexander and Flora MacKay.

Loving sister John MacKay (the late Sheila), Anne (Jim Goodyear) and the late Mary MacKay and Edward MacKay.

Dear aunt of Allison, Stephanie, Michael, Marne, Paul, Peter, Gregory and great aunt of Brady, Stephanie, Kyle, Zack, Kaylee, Carson, Emily, MacKenzie, Clare and Neil.

Catherine completed her nursing training at Ottawa Civic Hospital and worked as a plant nurse at the GM truck plant until her retirement.

She was an avid hiker, enjoyed travelling, reading and the arts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, 214 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa at 11 am with memorial visitation one hour prior. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery following the funeral Mass.

In memory of Catherine, donations to St. Gregory's Catholic Church or a  CHARITY of your choice would be appreciated.
