DORN (WEBB), Catherine Joy - Died peacefully on Wednesday, October 18th with her devoted husband Adrian Dorn by her side at the Dorothy Ley Hospice at the age of 62.
Cathy was beloved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her because of her thoughtful and loving personality.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Adrian Dorn, their three sons, Matthew, John-Paul and Lucas, her granddaughter Molly, her brother Paul Webb and her mother Marguerite. Cathy will be deeply missed. Born into a family of sailors, Cathy continued the tradition in her early twenties with the purchase of her first boat, the 'Poetess' and later became a certified Sail Boat Operator.
After graduating from Humber College, Cathy pursued a long and passionate career in journalism that ranged from a Court Beat Reporter to her work with the Canadian Newspaper Association organizing national trade events. Cathy found happiness by surrounding herself with family and friends and effortlessly hosting dinners and events for any and all occasions. Her cooking and hospitality were always the highlight of any family gatherings.
