DONNELLY, Philip Alexander - February 22, 1944 - October 30, 2017
On Monday, October 30, 2017, at Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill, Philip Alexander Donnelly, beloved husband of Janet Donnelly and beloved father of Alexander, Victoria and Sebastian passed away from lung cancer and other associated cancers.
This dear man stoically fought the pain continually trying to move positively forward in his daily life.
He was a gentle, loving man of faith who was devoted to his family and friends. Philip came to Canada from Scotland 45 years ago in October 1972 and met Janet within a few short weeks of his arrival. She was blessed to have been married to him for 37 years. Philip will be greatly missed by his wife Janet, sons Alexander and Sebastian and his daughter Victoria. He is now at peace and rest and free from pain. He will be greatly missed and will be forever in our hearts.
Visiting will be held at the Jerrett North York Chapel (6191 Yonge St.) on Wednesday November 8th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday November 9th, 2017 at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church (3898 Hwy. # 7, Unionville) at 1:00 pm.
Cremation has taken place at Philip's request.
In memoriam donations may be made to Hill House Hospice, (36 Wright St. Richmond Hill) would be appreciated by the family.
