BIENVENU, Yvan, C.A., - 1923-2017 Peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre.
Cherished husband of June (nee O'Connor) for 66 years.
Loving father of Patrick (Vanessa), Tim (Maureen), Gary (Gail) and Judy (Michael) MacKenzie.
Beloved Papa of Spencer Bienvenu, and Ryan, Daniel and Griffin MacKenzie. Predeceased by his much loved parents, Arthur and Mathilde (nee Chabot) and his 14 siblings.
Yvan will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the exceptional team at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre – LSSW for their tender care, particularly our amazing Grace.
In keeping with Yvan's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., with A Celebration of His Life to follow at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre.
