RYAN, Lawrence 'Larry' Henry  - June 1, 1935 - November 8, 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of Lawrence Henry Ryan announces his passing, peacefully at his home the morning of November 8, 2017, at the age of 82 years.

Larry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Riet, his four children Trudy (Paul), Robert (Inga), Mark and Ingrid (Pete), his six grandchildren Renae and Paige, Erika and Motiejus, Anya and Maxime, as well as several nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his sister Maureen Malcho and his brothers Jack and Stephen (Lynda) and by sisters-in-law Doris and Helena Ryan.

He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Isabel and brothers Basil 'Joe', George and Terry. Larry grew up in the Beaches area of Toronto and was a familiar face of Ryan's Home Hardware, established by his father in 1929, which he co-owned with his brother Jack for over 50 years, until his retirement in 2004.

Friends will be received at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Road, Scarborough, on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6-8:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass to be held at St. John's Catholic Church, 794 Kingston Rd., Toronto, on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11 a.m., followed by interment in Thornhill, with a reception to follow on site.

Memorial donations in memory of Larry can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
