HYNES, Wilfred B. - April 2, 1934 – November 4, 2017
In loving memory of Wilfred who passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with cancer.
Devoted husband of Sheilah (Pat), loving father of Mark, Kevin and Jeff (1970-2015) and daughters-in-law Jill and Kim. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Amy, Ashley, Joshua and Laura, as well as his surviving sister Eleanor Halford, brother-in-law Derek Britton and many nieces and nephews.
He was dedicated to his family and his community who he served as a Toronto Firefighter for 36 years. His love of life and quick wit will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will take place at Melrose Baptist Church, 375 Melrose Avenue, Toronto, on Saturday, November 18th at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, World Vision or Yonge Street Mission would be appreciated by the family .
