NASELLO, Joseph  - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph on November 16, 2017 in his 93rd year.

Born November 19, 1924 in Ragusa Ibla, Sicily.

Loving son of the late Salvatore Mario Nasello and Giovanna Tumino.

Devoted brother to the late Michele, Mario, Giovanni (Ragusa), Giovanni (Rome), Emanuela, Salvatrice, Salvatore and Rosario. Beloved husband of Antoinette (Lena) Lanzarotta for 62 years. Loving father of Michael (Karen), the late infant John, the late Frank, the late Mary and Joseph (Mary).

A cherished grandfather (Papa) to Justin, Stefan, and Elena and great-grandfather (Big Papa) to Mason. Joe will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law Sam Lanzarotta and sister-in-law Frances Graziano. "Uncle Joe" will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Joe was also well-known for over 25 years in his fruit and flower store at Eglinton and Kennedy in Scarborough.

Family and friends will be received at Highland Funeral Home Scarborough Chapel, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 18th at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 670 Sheppard Ave. E., Toronto (East of Bayview, driveway north off Sheppard using traffic light at Greenbriar) (www.stgabrielsparish.ca). After a short reception, interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 305 Erskine Ave., Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joseph's memory to Ovarian Cancer Canada or Casey House.
