STANIC, Joseph - February 2, 1928 – November 21, 2017
Joseph Stanic passed away peacefully in his 90th year at Credit Valley Hospital on November 21, 2017.
Joseph was born in Velika Vas Slovenia by Krsko, the fourth of five children.
He possessed the best human qualities exemplified in his devotion to his family, integrity and a loving heart. He told the best jokes and to the end he was blessed with a sharp mind and a charming big smile.
He enjoyed his time with family and saved his best laughs for his good friends at banquets and at Sunday picnics. Joseph is survived by his loving wife Ivanka, his daughter Victoria, eldest sister Ljudmila and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Franc and Vinko and his sister Karolina. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed but never forgotten.
Family and friends will be received at Scott Funeral Home, 420 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 25th at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, 739 Browns Line, Etobicoke, at 10:30 a.m.
