WACH, John Samuel  - It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the passing of the beloved John Samuel Wach at the tender age of 29 on November 21, 2017.

Son of Jane and Tim, brother of Scott and of Elyse and her husband Ryan, Uncle Sam to Ethan, whom he dearly loved, grandson of Lucy and the late Ron Darragh and of the late Jean and Ed Wach.

Sam was a unique individual with an incandescent love for life that burned too hot and too quickly.

He could make us laugh, he could make us cry. He delighted in entertaining others, particularly young children. A talented writer and musician with a great ear, Sam played piano and guitar and loved rock, classical and jazz music. His other passions ranged from skiing to chess.

Perhaps his favourite places were the former family cottage and Algonquin Park. Sam seemed to find peace there, whether in a canoe or hiking his favourite trail, Centennial Ridges. Life will not be the same without our Sam.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Tuesday, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.
