TRAIN, Ronald Edward "Ron" - Passed away peacefully in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia on November 29, 2017 at the age of 66 after a short battle with cancer.
Ron was the beloved husband of Lauretta, father to Steven (Stephanie), Vanessa and step-father to Rob and Stephen (Allison). He was adored by his grandchildren Lisa, Ella and Gerritt.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Nelson and Barbara and his brother, Morley.
Survived by his brother, Lee (Adelle), sister-in-law, Susan; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Lucy. Ron worked as a Civil Technologist for forty years. He was a Civitan member in the Scarborough Chapter and heavily involved with the Scarborough Cougars Hockey League when his son played.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 8th from 4-7 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury, NS. Burial will take place next summer in Yarmouth.
