ARUNGAYAN, Antonio "Tony" - Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer in Toronto on November 27, 2017 at the age of 65.
Born in the district of Molo, City of Iloilo, Philippines, to Rosario Inson Arungayan and Conrado Arungayan Sr. (both deceased), he was the youngest of 8 brothers.
Tony dedicated his life to helping others, holding positions as a civil servant in the Ministry of Correctional Services and the Ministry of Health, followed by a position at the Catholic Children's Aid Society.
Tony will be lovingly missed by his domestic partner of 41 years, James Benedict.
As per Tony's wishes, no services will be held but a Celebration of Life will take place in February 2018, details to come.
Donations in Tony's memory may be made to the Canadian Red Cross Society .
