DOWNEY, Grace Dora (nee McGUIRE) - July 2, 1926 - November 29, 2017
Grace passed away peacefully at Humber River Hospital, Toronto, after a short-term illness.
She was predeceased by her husband E.J. Downey, life partner Gilbert Keates and sons Gordon Victor Downey and Victor John Downey.
Survived by her 2 sons Patrick and Larry, brothers Mickey, Kenny and Ted McGuire and sister Violet Cross along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mom was a longtime member of the A.N.A.F. Club and will dearly miss all of her friends and fellow members. Grace was an inspiration to many, loved by all and will be in her family's hearts and minds forever.
Thanks to all who provided comfort, friendship and wonderful care while she was at the Harold and Grace Baker Centre and for the excellent treatment and understanding while at the HRH.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
