BAKER, Esther (nee Bruner) - With great sadness we announce the passing of Esther Baker on Friday, December 8, 2017 in her 99th year.
Cherished wife of the late Saul Baker; devoted mother of Michael and Barbara Baker, Nancy and the late Gerald Baker; very proud Nonny of Andrew Baker and Ayelet Kuper, Jason Baker and Ellie Morch, Jeffrey and Debra Baker, Suzanne Baker and Christian Begin, Jillian Baker and Victor Cellarius; great-grandmother of 14.
Mother was an elegant lady to the end. Her devotion to family and friends was inspiring.
She and the family shared a life long appreciation of music and the arts. Esther dedicated years of her life to teaching children with special needs. She will be greatly missed by all. The family is very grateful for the wonderful care received at Kensington Gardens.
At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West, on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Shiva will take place at 14 Wells Hill Avenue, Toronto.
