CALDERONE, Christine  - Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 7, 2017, the day of The Immaculate Feast in her 96th year surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Toronto October 25, 1922 to Augustino and Michelina Amodeo; Christine, (Stena to her friends), was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

A beloved mother to Jean-Ann D'Aprile (Ezio), Gus John, Cathy Loschiavo (Domenic) and Michael (Caroline).

Always remembered by her grandchildren David D'Aprile (Jennifer), Luca D'Aprile (Julie), Kristina and Daniel Loschiavo. She was a loving great-grandmother to Sofia, Alessia, Mia, Isabella, Angelica and Penelope.

Christine had a passion for life, a spirit that touched everyone she encountered. Her charm and interest in people resonated with so many.

Her infectious smile and laugh would bring out the best in everyone. Christine was a pure and genuine woman who will always be celebrated for her incredible and unparalleled generosity of heart. She enjoyed so many dinners and storytelling time with family and friends over the years.

The door was always open. During the past two years she was blessed with many kind caregivers who all called her Mom. She will be sadly missed by many who were so glad to share time with her each and every day.

A Funeral Mass will be held at our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 3055 Bloor St. W., on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery.
