Geoff was there For those who truly knew him, Geoff was there When it needed to be done, Geoff was there When something bad happened, Geoff was there When support was needed, Geoff was there When family gathered, Geoff was there Geoffrey David Birkenshaw worked hard, struggled a lot, put himself last and touched our lives.
He dreamed, he built, and he strived.
His struggles took their toll and now when we close our eyes wondering how we will carry on without him, Geoff will be there.
He will encourage us, support us and tell us it will be okay. Geoff will be there.
Geoffrey was predeceased by his sister Caroline, grandparents Shirley Sampson, Jack Birkenshaw, Lois and Kip Fleming, and cousin Victoria Jewell.
Geoffrey will be missed by loving father David, mother Nancy and step-father Frank Bowman, siblings Hilary (Brandon), Katrina (Kenneth), Carla and Kirk, grandmother Ethel Birkenshaw and grandfather Louis Sampson, aunts and uncles Susan (Michael), Douglas, Cindy, Susan, Dale and Cory (Lisa), cousins Alex, Sam and August Birkenshaw, Amy (Andrew) Alexis and Jack Patenaude, Jordan Patterson, Michael (Lindsey) Kellar, Laura (Nick) Schmidt, Jordan Ann and Madeline Sampson and Alecia Bart.
Celebration of Geoffrey's life will take place at a later date.
