MERCURY, David Auston - June 18, 1933 – December 7, 2017
Known for his personality, his zest for life and his amazing sense of humour, David Auston Mercury (Sr.), of Toronto passed away quietly and peacefully in the early hours of December 7, 2017.
David befriended everyone he met with his warmth and affable nature. He is already greatly missed.
David is survived by his brother Eric and six children from his first marriage to Barbara Roselyn Mercury (nee Thompson), David Jr., Wendi, Terry, Pat, Janice and Joe.
He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
From his second marriage to Beverely Mercury he leaves three step-children Danny, Kathy and Michael.
A memorial, celebrating David's life will be held at the Guildwood Community Presbyterian Church, 140 Guildwood Parkway, Scarborough, on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
