WILSON, Dian - September 22, 1940 - December 22, 2017
With great sadness we announce the passing of Dian Wilson at Southlake Hospital, Newmarket, on the morning of December 22, 2017.
Daughter to Daniel and Pearl (deceased), wife to Stanley (deceased); sister to Audrey (deceased), Jean (Bill) and Doreen; mom to Katherine, Nadine (Bob) and Ian (Karen); second mom to Cheryl ( Kerry) and Jeanette; Nannie to Mitchell; Aunt Dian to nieces and nephews and their children across Canada; soul sister to Doreen Ross; special Grandma to Alex, Tara, Micah and Jon; special friend to Sundai and Nicole; and dear friend to so many.
Dian spent her life providing care, guidance and support to others.
In her personal life and past career at Seneca College, her commitment and kindness made a difference in many lives. Her light has been extinguished too soon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home in Toronto (6150 Yonge Street).
The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 28th at 10:30 a.m.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to The Salvation Army, SickKids or the Georgina Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre.
