LAMBERT, John William Lambert  - Ontario Hydro/Ontario Power Generation pensioner, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on January 3, 2018.

John was born on December 17, 1945 in Toronto to Patricia Anne Lambert (nee Smith) and John William Lambert (both predeceased).

John is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Pereira; daughters Nicole (Domenic) Sciarra and Jolyn (Jodi) Lambert; brothers Stephen Lambert and Peter (Barb) Lambert; grandsons Jacob and Lucas, nieces Jamie-lee and Jessica; nephew Mykle (Amanda) and many more family members and friends who will remember John fondly as an avid photographer and for his thirst for adventure, whether it be found scuba diving or his many travels.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards the kindness and care provided to John over the years by the teams at the Tony Stacey Centre, Providence Healthcare and to Dr. Sandra Black and the Neurology department at Sunnybrook Health Sciences.

Mary would like to thank Sue Robertson and her family for their continued friendship with John and the many visits they paid to him during his time in care.

Memorial Service on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm., at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave East, West Hill, ON.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to one of the above Care Centres that touched the lives of John's family.
