ALTOMARE, Pietro - July 1, 1926 - January 3, 2018
With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather in his 92nd year.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Raffaella; cherished father to Carol, Theresa (Ben) and Luigi (Cheridan); devoted Nonno to Victoria, Brandon, Peter, Kristen and Chantel.
He will be dearly missed by many extended family, nieces and nephews.
Pietro was born in Cellara, Italy.
He took great pride in his careers as a Carabinieri Officer in Italy and a Millwright Mechanic in Canada.
His strong work ethic, commitment to family, and on going love made him the rock of the family.
Pietro was a proud Canadian who always gave thanks for the peace, prosperity and civility we all enjoy.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at ST. BRIGID'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (300 Woverleigh Blvd. Entombment to follow.
