PROKOPIW, Rosalia (nee Mokrynski) - August 9, 1918 - January 2, 2018
With overwhelming gratitude for a life well lived, we must now announce the passing of our "Rose".
She was the beloved wife of the late Peter for 68 years.
Much-loved mother of Elaine (Rob Nash), Walter (Dorothy Elton) and Daria (Robert Hamilton); Babunia to Donald, Alysson, Christina and Robert and Velyka Babunia to Alexis, Cole, Nathaniel, Jonathan, Robert Evan and Alexander.
She is now with her loving parents and sisters, the late Anastasia (Kowalchuk) and Pauline (Leckman). She touched many lives and was an inspiration to her relatives and numerous friends. In memory of a very special woman, please take a moment to count your blessings.
We each have so many of them. She made us proud and taught us the importance of family.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Neweduk-Erin Mills" Chapel, Mississauga, on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Panakhyda will take place at 7:30 p.m. Orthodox Rite of Funeral will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Oakville.
