WELLS, Robert Leslie   - Passed peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of Patricia Clare for 58 years, loving father to son Robert Leslie Jr. (Odette), daughter Roxanne Lynn (Bruce Petroff) as well as youngest son Richard Kenneth (Anne).

Proud Poppa of Olivia, Connor, Cade, Carson, Taylor and Brody; he leaves them with a million wonderful memories. Born in North Bay, Ontario to Kathleen Hannah Wells and John-Allan Wells, brother of the late John-Allan Jr. and survived by his sister Phyllis Graham, he grew up in Sudbury, Ontario.

A graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical School, Bob thrived in retail management and retired as Vice President of the retail division of Monarch in 1991.

He spent his retirement years doing the things he loved: golfing, travelling, playing bridge and caring for his cherished grandchildren who meant the world to him. Bob was one of the good ones! Loved by all and an inspiration to many, he will be missed dearly by friends and family.

Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Dixon-Garland Fuernal Home, Markham in the chapel. Reception to follow.
