Hynes DavidHYNES, David Allan  - March 24, 1951 - January 18, 2018

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David at Toronto General Hospital, with his best friend and partner of more than 30 years, Judy Graham, by his side.

He was the much-loved son of Ann Hynes of St. Bruno, QC and the late Lawrence Hynes.

He will be sadly missed by his sister, Carol Ann, and his brothers, Michael and Ken, as well as his nephews, Laurent, Taylor and Adam.

His sister-in-law, Gail Evans (Greg) and mother-in-law, Marjorie Graham, are also grieving his loss.

David was a sweet, kind man who was liked by all who met him. He was always interested in everyone's story. He loved playing hockey until he finally realized he was too old, but that didn't prevent him from skating whenever he had a chance.

He was also passionate about golf, chess and computers and loved walking in the Toronto ravines and Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A memorial gathering of friends and family will be held at a future date.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Princess Margaret Hospital or Toronto General Hospital.
