Tournour MaryTOURNOUR, Mary  - Died peacefully at Cummer Lodge on February 6, 2018 after a short illness.

Born in Toronto on February 13, 1931, Mary spent 40 years as a Lab Technician at St. Joseph's Hospital and volunteered for an addition 20 years after retirement.

She was a world traveller and visited every continent.

Mary was known for her photography and loved documenting both her travels and her time with family.

She enjoyed the arts and was often at the symphony, the opera and in Stratford for the Shakespeare Festival. In her latter days, Mary spent 5 happy years living at St. Bernard's Retirement Residence.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Agnes Monka (the late Aaron), her brother Arthur (the late Anne), her nieces and nephews Cathi (Gord), Rob (Sumitra), Vince (Jen) and MarySue, great-nieces and nephews Jacob (Jaime), Byron (Kathryn), Matt (Letitcia), Jen, Maggie, Robyn, Rachael, Teghan and Garth, great-great-nephews Luca, Cruz and Braden and great-great-niece Akayla, as well as many cousins in the USA and Italy.

Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 24 Cheritan Ave., on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Hospital or St. Bernard's Retirement Residence would be appreciated.
