HANDFORTH, Wayne - It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Handforth announce his passing suddenly on February 5, 2018 at the age of 70.
He was a unique person with many talents, DJ, ham radio operator, toastmaster and had a passion for the game of chess.
He will be greatly missed by his sisters Darlene (Duff), Maureen (Cholewa) and Shannon (McConnell), his brothers-in-law Gordon, Peter and Jerry and his many nieces and nephews.
Wayne was predeceased by his father Roy Handforth, his step-father William Archer and his beloved mother Sheila Archer and dedicated grandmother Nellie Johnson.
Visitation will held at Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas Street W., on Sunday, February 11th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel, on Monday, February 12th at 10 a.m.
