DUNN, Viola (Vi) (nee Mortlock)  - 1921 - 2018  Viola has passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Mississauga Trillium Hospital at the age of 96, with her family at her side.

She is survived by daughter Maureen Dunn and son-in-law Mark Alexander and predeceased by husband Arnold, daughter Arlene Alexander, Viola's siblings and parents.

Vi was born in Toronto, the second of four children.

At the start of the war she worked for Avro Aircraft.

After the war she met and married Arnold and adopted 2 girls. Life changed with the girls when the Brownie unit they had joined needed a leader. Vi stepped up to the plate and stayed with the Girl Guides of Canada for over 25 years.

This was the main joy of her life working with the children, going camping, doing crafts, etc.

Friends will be received at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., at Fourteenth St., on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation.

If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or SickKids Foundation would be appreciated.
