Donald Earle Lewis passed away at Newmarket General Hospital on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, in his 80th year.
Loving husband of Florence (Wrightson) for 56 years.
Beloved father of David (Charlene), Theo Ann (Sean Byrne) and Timothy.
Proud grandfather of Cody, Madison, Roan and Rily. Brother of Jean (John Kell) and Barbara (John Wilson). A gregarious optimist, Donald had a welcome smile for everyone he met.
In the summer, he could often be found enjoying the cottage at Jack Lake, in the winter, skiing and enjoying the outdoors.
At seeding and harvest, watching with wonder the neighbouring farmers working the land. And on many weekends, working the antique markets, trying to stay ahead of Flo's latest treasure find. Donald lived a full rich life, and was a husband, father and grandfather first.
Also a farmer, teacher, a proud, determined Leaf fan and a lover of life. He will be missed by all.
