SCHEFFLER, Michael - April 24, 1942 - February 6, 2018 This was no ordinary life.
This was a life well-lived and well-loved, a life that will be deeply missed.
Loving husband to Brenda and father to Maxime and Madison.
A true visionary who emigrated from Germany during the war to pursue his dream of being a chef.
His legacy will live on through his many ventures, which include Rooney's in Toronto, Splendido at The Chateau Beaver Creek (Colorado), The Muddy Duck in Newmarket and Good for You Food Services Inc. a subsidy of Magna Intl.
His work ethic defined him and this is a character trait he passed onto anyone that knew him.
