WIGLE, Daniel Brunton  - It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved Dan.

Having valiantly battled multiple myeloma for more than seven years, he passed away peacefully at home on a day of his choosing, Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Dan was born and educated in Kingsville, Ontario, was a proud graduate of Queen's University – BA-BPHE '63 and a dedicated educator for 35 years.

He was a passionate gardener. His love of the outdoors and travelling found him hiking, camping and collecting T-shirts all over Canada and parts of Europe.

As a major DIY-er, Dan relished renovating the family home and spending time at Eagle Lake, clearing the land, building the cottage and enjoying family and canoeing with the loons.

Dan was the devoted husband and best friend of Brenda, cherished father of Christina and Mark (Andrea), Papa extraordinaire to his grandchildren Lauren and Emily Powell and Owen, Cameron and Trevor Wigle and brother Paul (Calgary).

Annually for the past 20 years his family calendar was a labor of love from him to all his family at Christmas.

He was predeceased by his first child Michael (69) and his parents Owen and Myrtle.

Friends may call at Turner & Porter 'Neweduk-Erin –Mills' Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga, on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the chapel on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment in the spring. Date to be announced.

It is "Dan's Desire" that remembrances be made to Myeloma Canada if so desired.
