ALLISON, Joseph Robert Oliver  - March 6, 1922 – February 9, 2018

Robert passed away peacefully at the age of 95.

He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years Doris (nee Borman) in 2010 and will be greatly missed by daughters Linda (Bartlett) and Karen, grandchildren Christopher and Kathleen Bartlett (Aaron Hong) and extended family members.

Born in Maxwell, Ontario, the oldest of 6 children.

He spent his early years on the family farm and then enlisted in the Canadian Army, Serving in the European theatre with the 48th Highlanders. He spent most of his working life as a Manager at Lawson Graphics.

He loved bowling, woodworking, baseball, his family, his church and his community. He was always happy to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.

Special thanks to the staff at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre L-Wing for the excellent care he received; you made his time peaceful.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunnybrook Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated.

A private service will be held.
