FIUMANO, Rosa Maria - 1928 – 2018 It is with overwhelming sadness that the Fiumano family announces the passing of their beloved mother Rosa Maria (Rosina).
On Sunday, February 11, 2018 after a brief illness at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Fiumano (2005) and mother of Rosalia (Jorge), Maria (Santino), Caterina (Arturo) and Angelina.
Beloved grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 10.
She will be greatly missed by her siblings in Italy, nieces, nephews and by her in-laws the Mammola, Buonastella and Borghesani families.
The family would like to thank the many wonderful PSWs who cared for their mother throughout the years and the 4th floor nurses at Toronto Western Hospital for their support during Rosa's final days.
She will be forever remembered for her compassion and her endless love and affection for her family, especially all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge) on Thursday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
Service will be at Beechwood Cemetery "Chapel of the Madonna" (7241 Jane Street, Concord) on Friday at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the Fiumano family requests that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
