Doucet MicheleDOUCET, Michèle Dora  -Michèle passed away after a long and difficult illness, on the morning of February 5, 2018, at home in Toronto with her life partner Michael Clement at her side.

A person of great intelligence, warmth and compassion she left this world too soon, at only 68.

Michèle never did get to be her partner's navigator on a much hoped for trip around North America.

She lived for decades in the Bloor and Yonge area of Toronto where she was a friendly face and had many friends. Michèle graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA and then completed an MA in history. She was very knowledgeable about film which she taught for a time.

She also followed current events and was a wonderful conversationalist, always finding a side of any discussion that no one had thought of.

She was predeceased by her parents Léo Doucet and Claire Doucet (Trudel) and survived by her partner Michael, her siblings Marc, Claude (Louise), Renée Cright (Michel) and Joanne (Bernard Brunet), nieces and nephews Gabrielle Doucet-Simard (Sébastien), Philippe Doucet (Santine), Luc Doucet (Caitlin) and by great-niece and nephew Ella and Mateo Doucet.

Our hearts are broken but alas, the pain has stopped and now she lives in our hearts.

"Ceux qui sont aimés ne meurent pas car l'amour c'est l'immortalité."
