FORD, William 'Bill' Warren Connor  - Peacefully, on February 8, 2018.

Beloved husband of Frances for 68 years.

Precious father of the late William, Debra (Mark) and Karen (Stephen).

Loving Papa of Jenna (Diego), Melanie (Mike) and Matthew. Great Papa of Penelope. Bill's greatest delight was his family and he treasured each and every one. A De La Salle College alumni, Bill, at an early age developed a passion for hockey that took him to Halifax, NS, Quebec City, QC and Cleveland, OH.

Bill enjoyed the annual hockey tournament hosted by Charlie Shultz in Santa Rosa, CA.

He won the Seniors Olympics in 1975 scoring the winning goal. An athlete, noted to be a gentleman both on and off the ice. Bill was honoured at a "Bill Ford Night" hosted in Halifax (1951) and Oakville (1967) for his excellent contribution and achievements as a professional hockey player. An avid golfer sharing many memories with Sam, Sam, and Sam. Bill retired from St. Mary's Cement after 37 years of service.

Much appreciation and gratitude to the ILTC unit at the McCall Centre for the outstanding care provided to our Dad. Cremation has taken place.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 3055 Bloor St. W., Etobicoke on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11 a.m.

In memory of Bill, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
