MOREHOUSE, Mary Isabel (nee Kennedy)  - July 18, 1926 - February 15, 2018

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 15, 2018, in her 91st year.

She will be sorely missed by her husband of 61 years, Donald.

A notorious power couple, they were never apart for a single day.

Also grieving her loss is her only son James, granddaughter Andrea (David), cousin Renee (Barry), loving in-laws and many cherished friends.

She was recently predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Ann. Originally from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Mary and her parents later relocated to Toronto. In 1954 she met the love of her life, Don.

They married and moved to Coxwell Blvd. where they raised their son and lived for over 50 years. Mary was an active member of Eastminster United Church, where she sang in the choir and volunteered in community outreach efforts. She always had compassionate words and gentle encouragement for others and touched many lives. Her youthful personality and sunny disposition were treasured by her family and all those who knew her.

A Memorial to Celebrate her Life will take place on Saturday, February 24th at 2 p.m. at Eastminster United Church, 310 Danforth Ave., Toronto, ON M4K 1N6, 416-463-2179.

Friends wishing to make a memorial contribution should donate to a charity of their choice. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ThompsonFH-Aurora.com for the Morehouse family.
