CARMICHAEL, Douglas James - Born October 20, 1948 in Halifax, NS, to the late Elizabeth Joan Carmichael (nee Cullen) and James Morris Carmichael.
Passed suddenly on February 16, 2018 in Toronto.
Husband of Donna. Father of Kimberley, Brenda (Darryl) and Leslie (Michael).
Grandfather of Alexander, Ryan, Cullen, Stephanie, Douglas, Kayla, Brendan and Nicholas. Great-grandfather of Lucas James.
Predeceased also by his brother Steven and parents-in-law Elizabeth and Edmund Mackenzie.
Fondly remembered by siblings Trish, James, Shelly and Connie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28th at 12 p.m. at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Road, Toronto, followed by a chapel service at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to SickKids Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
