EMILIO, Ronald - September 25, 1932 - March 7, 2018
A bright light was extinguished Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in the Emilio family with the passing of Ronald Frederick Emilio, age 85 years.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth Emilio.
Loving father of Andrew, Alison, Kelly, Kristen, David and the dearly departed Jane.
Lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren: Carly, Billy Jr., Samantha, (Jay Gomez), Josh, Alexandra, Christie, Luke, Chelsea, Nicki, Sarah, Jake, Annie, James, Cameron and Daniel; daughters and sons-in-law Julie, Jay, Vic, Bill and Anita; and cherished great-grandchildren Ellie and Jake.
Ron was a distinguished Canadian Motion Picture Pioneer whose film career spanned over 40 years as General Manager for MGM and Allied Artists; SVP Cineplex and CEO of Famous Players Theatres. Ron's interests and accomplishments were many – from golf to carpentry, hockey coach to race horse owner. He was a charismatic raconteur – we'll miss his stories.

Cremation has taken place and we will celebrate Ron's life this Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. at McLaren House at Sunnybrook Estates, 2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto M4N 3M5.
