FAHLMAN, Ibvm Benedicta (Aurelia)  - Died peacefully at Loretto Abbey Infirmary, Toronto, on March 8, 2018.

Sister was in her 82nd year as a member of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Loretto Sisters).

Daughter of the late Andrew J. Fahlman and Barbara Ferner, she was predeceased by her sisters Hedy Kramer (Vernon), Marie Folk (John), Theresa Dyczkowski and Clara Lagus (John) and brothers Ferdinand (Bertha), Joseph, Benedict and Andrew.

Survived by brother Anton and wife Catherine, sister-in-law Eileen, brother-in-law Anton Dyczkowski and many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Sister Benedicta was a longtime Principal and Teacher in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Prior to that she was a Catechist in Port Colborne and Estevan for 14 years and then taught in Fort Erie, Guelph and Sedley.

After retiring from teaching she did Parish Ministry for another 16 years in Weyburn Parish of St. Vincent de Paul.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to a Mass of Christian Burial at Loretto Abbey Chapel, 101 Mason Blvd., on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow.
