PARKS, Mary (nee TKATCHUK)  - Passed away peacefully on March 2, 2018 in her 102nd year, with family at her side.

Predeceased by her husband Eddy (1991) and brothers Steve, Mike, John, Paul, Tom, Dick and Peter.

Survived by her daughter Arlene Gloria (Cheryl) and her dear sister Emily Clark and brothers Bill and Henry from North Battleford, Saskatchewan and nieces and nephews.

Mary was born and raised on the farm, but was a city girl at heart. She was a hairdresser and wonderful homemaker who made 'the best pies in the world'.

A sweet woman of few words yet with a spirit of integrity and strength, not afraid to take a stand.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 20th at 1-5 p.m. at Kensington Gardens Nursing Home at 25 Brunswick Avenue. Gloria would like to thank the staff who cared for her mother during the last 10 years of her life.
