PARETE, Maria (nee SANTANGELO) - December 30, 1926 - March 12, 2018
With sadness, we announce the passing of Maria Parete.
Born in Roccamorice, Italy.
Predeceased by her husband Donato Parete (April 26, 1922 – March 26, 1972).
Loving and dedicated mother, she leaves behind her only child Antonietta (Donato Cellucci).
She was devoted and proud of her grandchildren Paul and Silvia and great-grandchildren.
Her strong work ethic and sacrifices enabled her to surpass many hardships and struggles in her life.
She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave., at Dufferin St.) on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow.
