Raymond StanleyRAYMOND, Stanley Maurice (Bud)  - 1922-2018 Bud Raymond passed away peacefully on March 12, 2018 at 9:40 a.m. in the Veterans' Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret (Brown) and their four children, Susan (Fowler), Allan, Donald and Anne Raymond and son-in-law Dalton Fowler.

Bud is also survived by eleven grand-children, Timothy and Michael Fowler, Lauren (Cartwright), Emily (Moore), Derrick, Mark, Matthew, Cameron and Daniel Raymond and Julia and Jack Switzer and three great-grandchildren, Madelaine and Harrison Fowler and Margo Cartwright.

He is also survived by a sister, Kathleen Lewis and was pre-deceased by a sister, Peggy Laundrie.

Bud's children, grand-children and great-grand-children, of whom he was extremely proud, are his greatest legacy.

Bud was a Pilot Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II, flying the Halifax 7 bomber with 432 Squadron out of East York in England.

Upon returning from the war, he graduated from OAC, predecessor of Guelph University, in the class of 1951. He was a high school physics teacher in Newmarket, Bracebridge and North York.

He was also an active member of Holy Trinity Church, the Lions Club and Probus International, in Thornhill. The family would like to thank Scarlett Heights and the nursing staff and Dr. Hung at Sunnybrook Hospital for their compassion and excellent care.

Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., Saturday, April 7th from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Stanley Raymond be directed to "The Comfort Fund" in care of The Sunnybrook Foundation, 2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M4N 3M5.
